YASAMIN JAMEH
President
My name is Yasamin Jameh and I'm the treasurer and websmaster of Bayview's Law Club for the 2016-2017 year. I've been passionate about law, social sciences, history, politics since grade 5. I'm especially intersted International and Constitutional law, so as of now I hope to pursue a career in politics or international relations. This is my first year in Law Club, so I'm super excited to participate in mock trials, develop my legal skills, and work with my colleagues to make our club even better than before!
VENUS VAFA
Secretary
My name is Venus Vafa and this is my first year as Secretary of Bayview’s Law club. Currently, I'm excited to participate in the Empire Mock Trial in New York this November. I plan on pursuing a career in entertainment/sports law, with an undergrad in business. I look forward to my year as apart of this club!
ARGHVAN EFTEKHARI
Training Coordinator
Hi, I'm Arghavan. This year is my first year as the training coordinator for Bayview's Law Club. Last year, I was a general member and I enjoyed learning more about law. I hope to go into criminal law in the future.
MATTEUS MAKOS
VP External Affairs
My name is Matteus Makos and I will be your VP of External Affairs for the 2016-2017 year. This is my second year in law club as my first one gave me a good taste of what it's like and got me coming back for another year, but now on the executive team. I've participated in one mock trial so far, and I look to continue participating in more especially in the Empire Mock Trial. I look forward to seeing during the course of the upcoming year what the club can do for me, but especially what I can do for the club. I hope to pursue a career in law as a corporate lawyer, a career in business in management, or to continue my path of entrepreneurship.
STEPHANIE RICO
Public Relations Officer
Hi! My name is Stephanie Rico and this is my first year as Public Relations Officer of Bayview’s Law Club. Last year, I participated as an active and eager member of the mock trial team as a witness. This year, I am extremely excited to conitnue my role in Bayview's competive law team and hope to keep progressing my skills in analysis and public speaking. I hope to persue a career in medecine and humanitarian aid.
MAGGIE LI
Junior Executive
Hi, my name is Maggie Li and I am this year’s Junior Executive for Bayview’s Law Club. I started out in Law Club in grade 9, as an enthusiastic general member and had so many opportunities to learn new things and to meet new people who share the same interests as I do. I love being able to discuss my ideas with others and I’m always there to help. I’m overjoyed to be a part of the crew and I’m so excited for this year’s session. In the future, I hope to pursue a career as a criminal lawyer with an undergraduate degree in law.
